This paper is based on an experimental analysis carried out to identify the effectiveness of different installation techniques of CFRP (Carbon Fibre Reinforcement) in concrete elements. Two new methods of integration of externally bonded reinforcement (EBR) and near surface mounted (NSM) methods were also experimented with the objective of increasing the flexural capacity of reinforced concrete beams by increasing the effective area of CFRP strips used. The main objective of this research paper is to identify the adaptability of existing guidelines specified for the EBR and NSM methods separately into the new installation method of integrating the two techniques of EBR and NSM.en_US
