Author tries to analyze the effect of genetic algorithm when mutation rate is selected randomly compared to fixed mutation rates or/and adaptive mutation rates. The results shows that though it is not always possible to get comparable results using randomly selected mutation rates, it is possible to obtain the required range with less number of trials than using fixed mutation rates for this nature applicationsen_US
