Computing runoff is very important in water resources development. Estimating runoff from rainfall records in the absence of stream gauge records is extremely important. It is more so in Sri Lanka where most of our watersheds are ungauged. Runoff coefficient enables the estimation of runoff for most of the practical applications.en_US
