An analytical approach for traffic incident analysis

Abstract

Traffic Incident Analysis is used for the analysis of bottlenecks or traffic incidents (such as road closure, accidents, and effect due to a slow moving vehicle etc.) which might significantly change normal / existing traffic conditions, Due to traffic incidents delays (travel time increases), congestion, and unpleasant queue formation would occur.
