Your support and direction to produce quality work is highly appreciated. Also Professor Jagath Premachandra, our course coordinator for the post graduate degree in polymer technology 2016 batch, your encouragement, and support throughout the course was truly encouraging. In addition, the support received from Professor Narayana on the numerical and modelling part was highly acknowledged. Professor Rathanasiri’s insights and comments on the modelling part were very helpful. Furthermore, postgraduate student of the department Mr. Chathuranga Wickramasinghe, your support on the numerical modelling was very useful and productive. I also take this opportunity to thank all the lecturers and staff of the Moratuwa University and all the external lecturers who guided us throughout the postgraduate course. Would like to convey my very special thanks to Mr. Anura Liyanage, Mr. Saliya Gunasekara, Mr.Likitha Lasantha, and all the staff at Bogala mines Sri Lanka for also updating on the existing research project and their valuable insights on the project. In addition, the staff including Mrs. Udara, Mr. Nuwan, and Mr. Asanka in the department of chemical and process that assisted me in various ways during this course.
